Golden Wolves Fall to Felician in Home Opener

Reading, Pa. (Dec. 5, 2025) - Alvernia Women's Wrestling dropped a 41-6 contest to Felician University on Friday night in women's wrestling action at Alvernia.

Felician took a 4-1 after the first bout with a 17-2 technical fall win over Alvernia's Perla Matista Gracia. The Golden Falcons then took the next 29 points before Alvernia picked up a win at 160 pounds as Elizabeth Adebola pinned Destiny Rivera in 1:20. The GOlden Falcons then grabbed the final eight points for the 41-6 final.

Alvernia won two of three three exhibition bouts at the conclusion of the match. Alana Durham won in a 53 second fall at 124 pounds, and Ahnika Hoover won via fall in 56 seconds at 138 pounds.

Alvernia is off next week for finals and will be back in action at home for the Golden Wolves Open on Sunday, December 14th.
