York, Pa. (May 2, 2025) - Alvernia Men's and Women's Track and Field finished Friday with three podium finishes and two All-MAC performances on day two of the 2025 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship at York College.

Podium Finishers
Leo Tirado was Alvernia's top finisher of the day, taking second place in the high jump with a personal-record mark of 1.91m. His performance earned him Second Team All-MAC honors.

Britney Anyia took third place in the long jump with a mark of 5.38m to earn Third Team All-MAC honors.

Giavanni Gibson took fourth place in the heptathlon with a personal-record performance of 3414 points. Gibson was in sixth place entering the final stretch of events on Saturday. She finished second overall in the 800m and used that jump in points to move up to fourth place.

Saturday Qualifiers
Bandon VanSchaick qualified for the 110m hurdle final with a time of 15.80 seconds. VanSchaick was third in his heat and eighth through the preliminaries.

Spencer Hahn won his heat of the 800m with a time of 1:54.65 to qualify for Saturday's final. Hahn ran just under two seconds off of his personal-record in the Friday prelim.
