Reading, Pa. (July 8, 2025) - Alvernia University Baseball student-athlete
Nick Ferraioli earned Academic All-MAC honors for his performance on the field and in the classroom during the 2025 season, as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference on Tuesday.
The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote for the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.
Ferrioili, a junior majoring in healthcare science, is one of 12 baseball student-athletes across the MAC to earn Academic All-MAC honors.
Ferraioli was the 2025 MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Year and a First Team All-MAC Commonwealth honoree. He also earned D3baseball.com First Team All-Region, and was a Second Team All-Region honoree for the ABCA. Ferraioli finished the season with a 3.05 ERA and a 7-3 record. He started 11 games, threw three complete games and one shutout. He finished the season with 59 innings pitched, 20 earned runs, 53 strikeouts, and 19 walks. This is his first Academic All-MAC honor.
