Reading, Pa. (Jan. 19, 2026) - Alvernia University pitcher Nick Ferraioli was named a D3Baseball.com Preseason All-American, as announced by the organization leading up to the start of the 2026 season in February.

Ferraioli, who was a D3Baseball.com All-Region honoree in 2025, was named a Third Team Preseason All-American.

Ferraioli, the 2025 MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Year and a First Team All-MAC Commonwealth honoree, finished last season with 52 strikeouts and a 3.14 ERA. He allowed 51 hits, 20 earned runs, and 19 walks in 57.1 innings pitched this season. He tallied an overall record of 7-3 with three complete games and one shutout. He held opposing batters to a .249 batting average. Ferraioli led the MAC Commonwealth in ERA, win, and complete games. He ranked second in shutouts and earned runs. 

Alvernia opens its 2026 season on Saturday, February 14th at Kean University.
