Reading, Pa. (October 5, 2026) - Kyla Lytle of Women's Soccer and Allen Kim of Men's Golf earned Alvernia Athletes of the Week for their performances on the field and course during the week of September 28th - October 3rd.

Lytle scored the second goal for the Golden Wolves in a 3-0 victory over Delaware Valley on Wednesday and also helped anchor a defense that did not allow a goal and only three total shots. Lytle found the back of the net thanks to a Megan Reuter cross from an Alvernia corner kick, Lytle headed the ball into the net to put the Golden Wolves up 2-0 before the half. Lytle then tallied the second goal in a 2-2 draw to Hood in Alvernia's MAC Commonwealth opener when she scored off of another corner kick, this one from Faith Greenday, to give the Golden Wolves a 2-1 advantage just under a minute into the second half. Lytle recorded four total shots with two shots on goal in 149 total minutes played on the week.

Allen Kim led the Alvernia Men's Golf team to a first place finish at the Golden Oaks Shootout and fired in a record breaking round of 66 to lead the Golden Wolves.
