iReading, Pa. (Feb. 14, 2026) - Alvernia University posted a 3-1 record on day one of the AMCC Round Robin #2; leading the field with the best performance of the day at Alvernia's Hiester Lanes on Saturday.

Both the Golden Wolves and Saint Vincent College went 3-1 on the day, but Alvernia picked up a win over the Bearcats to open the afternoon. The results of today will be combined with the results of the first round robin from November to determine the six teams that will advance to the AMCC Championship. Alvernia posted a 3-3 record back in November and was in fifth place entering today.

The Golden Wolves started their day with a 911-849 win over Saint Vincent College. Alvernia was led by a round of 217 from Lacey Slaymaker in the opening game. Mia Siminitus finished right behind Slaymaker with a round of 210.

The Golden Wolves improved to 2-0 on the day with a 791-779 win over Pitt Bradford in the second game of the day. Paige Aucker led Alvernia with a score of 191, and Slaymaker finished with a 168.

Alvernia moved to 3-0 on the day with a win by just four pines, 909-905, against Penn State Behrend in match three. Slaymaker posted a 230 in the game, marking the second highest game of the day across all bowlers.  

Alvernia dropped its final match of the day to William Smith, 880-787, to close out day one. Kailynn Jones led Alvernia with a 188.

Lacey Slaymaker is tied for first in total pinfall with Saint Vincent's Brooke Street. Both finished day one with a total of 797 pins.

Alvernia is back at Hiester Lanes tomorrow morning. Bowling gets underway at 9:30 AM, but Alvernia has a bye to open the day.
