Golden Wolves Finish AMCC Round Robin #2 With 5-1 Record, Qualify for AMCC Championship

Reading, Pa. (Feb. 15, 2026) - Alvernia Women's Bowling went 2-0 day two of the AMCC Round Robin #2, finishing the two-day tournament hosted at Alvernia's Hiester Lanes with a 5-1 record overall.

The Golden Wolves joined Saint Vincent and William Smith as the three teams to all go 5-1 across the two-day Round Robin. Records from this round robin will be combined with AMCC Round Robin #1 from November to set and seed the field for the AMCC Championship that will be held in March.

Alvernia started the day with a 959 to 874 win over Hilbert College. The Golden Wolves were led by a 246 from Mia Siminitus. Siminitus ended her round with nine total strikes, including six straight strikes to finish out. Kailynn Jones bowled a 198 and Lacey Slaymaker finished with a 192.

Alvernia closed out the tournament with a dominant 969 to 611 win over Pitt Greensburg. A 248 from Slaymaker led Alvernia. Slaymaker posted eight strikes en route to her 248, which was the highest score across all bowlers between both days of competition. Kailynn Jones finished in second for Alvernia with a round of 199 in game two.

Lacey Slaymaker led Alvernia throughout the weekend, finishing second amongst all bowlers with an average of 206.17 across all seven games. Kailynn Jones was ranked fifth with an average of 186, and Mia Siminitus was sixth with an average of 185.67.

Alvernia's 5-1 results from this weekend combined with its 3-3 finish in the first round robin back in November ranks Alvernia in third with a combined 8-4 record for the AMCC Championship in March. Saint Vincent, who went a combined 10-2, will be the #1 seed, and William Smith will be the #3 seed with a combined record of 9-3.
