Lacey Slaymaker were named Alvernia Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week of February 9 - February 15, 2026.
Elijah Hamilton averaged 19 points and eight rebounds in a 1-1 week for Alvernia. Hamilton shot 54% on the week and finished the week with 37.4 minutes played per game. In an 81-80 loss to Hood on Wednesday, Hamilton posted 15 points and seven rebounds. He shot 6-for-12 overall and 3-for-4 from the line in 39 minutes played. In a 78-75 win over Widener on Saturday, Deary finished with 23 points, going 8-for-14 from the floor. He also had nine rebounds, a block, and a steal.
Lacey Slaymaker led Alvernia to a 5-1 weekend at the AMCC Round Robin #2. Slaymaker finished ranked second amongst the field of 49 bowlers. She averaged a 206.17 across five games played, finishing just one pin back of the top-finisher from Saint Vincent. Slaymaker bowled a high-score of 230 across four games on Saturday, and capped off her weekend with a game of 248 on Sunday in the final match of the tournament. Her game of 248 was the highest bowled across all six games in the entire field. Slaymaker's performance helped Alvernia finish in a tie for first in the AMCC Round Robin #2, and helped the Golden Wolves qualify as the third seed for the AMCC Championship in March.
Men's Basketball is back in action on Tuesday night at Eastern. Women's Bowling is off until postseason play begins in March.
