Anyia, Rodriguez Lead Golden Wolves at the Fastrack National Invite

Staten Island, N.Y. (February 6, 2026) - Alvernia University competed at the Fastrack National Invite Friday evening at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in women's track and field action. 

Britney Anyia led the way for the Golden Wolves with a seventh place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.21m, which was also the best mark by a NCAA DIII athlete at the meet. Anyia also recorded an eighth place finish in the high jump with a 1.50m mark. 

Angelise Rodriguez posted the highest finish for the Golden Wolves with a second place finish in the Open High Jump with a mark of 1.45m which matches her season best mark. Rodriguez also competed in the Open Triple Jump and posted a season best mark of 9.76m. 

Mylina Castillo tallied a seventh place finish in the Open Triple Jump with a 10.98m mark which was also a season best for Castillo. 

Giavanni Gibson rounded out the Golden Wolves with a personal best time in the 800m. Gibson smashed her previous PR by 15 seconds with a 2:38.24 time.
