New York, NY (March 7, 2026) - Alvernia Men's and Women's Track and Field closed out its indoor season this weekend at the 2026 AARTFC Indoor Championship, hosted by The Armory in New York City.

Four athletes qualified and competed for Alvernia in this weekend's championship. On the men's side, Christian Medina represented Alvernia in the shot put. For the women, both Britney Anyia and Mylina Castillo competed in the long and triple jump, respectively. Paige Jerrahian also competed for Alvernia in the 800m on the track.

Medina took seventh place in the shot put with a mark of 15.22 meters. Medina's mark came on his third attempt, and was good for a new personal-record. It was also just 0.58 meters shy of an indoor Alvernia record.
