Golden Wolves Compete at York Twilight

York, Pa. (April 2, 2026) - Alvernia Women's Track and Field competed at the annual York College Twilight Invitational on Wednesday night at York College.

Alvernia finished the night with a trio of top ten finishes and a set of four new personal records.

Angelise Rodriguez took ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 9.86 meters. Maria Skulski took ninth in the hammer throw with a personal record mark of 34.82 meters. Skulski took 12th in the shot put as well with a personal-record mark of 9.26 meters.

On the track, Elisabeth Schwarz rounded out Alvernia top-ten finishes with a tenth place finish in the 100m in a time of 13.04 seconds. Addy Gularte set a new PR in the 400m with a time of 1:03.00 to take 18th overall. Julia Polaski rounded out Alvernia's personal-records on the night with a 1,500m finish of 6:10.01 to better her previous mark by over 19 seconds. Samantha Wallace tied her personal-record of 28.73 seconds in the 200m with a 28.73 for the second straight week.

Alvernia is off this weekend and returns to action on April 9-11 at the Messiah Invitational.
