Freitag Competes at NCAA Division III National Championship

La Crosse, Wisconsin (May 23, 2026) - Alvernia Men's Track and Field first year Trip Freitag competed in the javelin at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship on Saturday, hosted at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.

Trip Freitag posted a mark of 54.43 meters to take 19th overall. Freitag was the first Alvernia Men's Track and Field Athlete to compete at the NCAA Division III National Championship since Hunter Guenzel also competed in the javelin at the 2021 championship.

Damitrius Hester of Rowan University won the event with a mark of 74.94 meters.
