Reading, Pa. (June 23, 2026) - Five Alvernia Track and Field student-athletes earned CSC Academic All-District honors for their performances in the classroom and the track as announced Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators. 

In order to qualify, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Student-athletes must also have a top-50 mark in the region in either the indoor or outdoor season. 

Spencer Hahn recorded the fifth best 800m time in the outdoor season with his record breaking 1:51.98 time at the 2026 MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Hahn also recorded the 15th best time in the indoor 800m with a time of 1:56.53 at the NYU Invitational and the 30th best time in the 1,500m with a time of 4:05.11. 

Paige Jerrahian recorded top 50 times in both the indoor and outdoor 800m. Jerrahian's time of 2:21.56 at the 2026 Indoor MAC Championships was the 28th best time in the region and her 2:22.74 time in the outdoor 800m was the 47th best mark in the region. 

Grant Sharp recorded four top 50 regional marks between the indoor and outdoor seasons. Sharp posted the 22nd best mark in the region in outdoor shot put at the 2026 MAC Championships with a mark of 13.95m and his 38.58m mark in the discus was the 48th best mark in the region. Sharp also posted a mark of 39.51m in the hammer throw and his weight throw mark of 13.63m was the 34th best mark in the region.

Andrew Simmons posted a time of 7.13 in the 60m dash which was the 44th best time in the region and his 10.80 time in the 100m was the 11th fastest time in the region. 

Addy Gularte's 400m time of 1:00.99 at the 2026 MAC Championships was the 34st best time in the region.
