York quickly pushed the lead back to nine with four straight points and had its largest lead of the first half, up 16 points, 33-18 with 6:09 left before the break.  Alvernia sophomore Ashley Shrawder (Dalmatia, PA/Line Mountain) canned a 3 to start an 11-2 Crusader run that cut the lead to seven, 38-31 with 1:47 on the clock, but Perez scored seven straight points to double the York lead entering the break.

York built its lead to 20 points midway through the second half, 68-48, and had the gap as wide as 24 points before settling for the 17 point win.  The Spartans will travel to Messiah College for their next game while the Crusaders are off until January 4 when they host DeSales University.
