Reinhart Leads Alvernia With Career-High 23

Dover, DE (Jan. 28, 2006) - Wesley College got a game-high 30 points from senior T'Neisha Turner (Upper Marlboro, MD/Frederick Douglass) in a 72-67 overtime win over Alvernia College Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women's basketball action at Wesley.  Alvernia senior Mandy Reinhart (Pine Grove, PA/Pine Grove) scored a career-high 23 to pace the Crusaders.
     Alvernia connected on 63 percent of its first half shots to open up a 35-27 lead at the break.  The second-half lead grew to as many as 10 points for the Crusaders before the Wolverines, the top team in the PAC South, tied the score and won in overtime.
     Reinhart finished the game 10-of-13 from the floor and added five rebounds and five assists.  Junior forward Erin Knarr (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) also reached double-digits for the Crusaders with 13 poitns on  6-of-10 shooting.
     Turner shot 8-of-24 from the floor, but added 12 free throws on 13 attempts to reach 30.  Tricia Casarotto (Camden, DE/Ceaser Rodney) scored 24 points for the Wolverines.
