Elizabethtown, Pa. (Mar. 14, 2009) - Elizabethtown College (1-0) swept the doubles play and took five of six singles matches for an 8-1 win over Alvernia University (0-3) Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's tennis action at Elizabethtown.
Alvernia sophomore
Morgan Davidheiser (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) earned his frist college win at No. 3 singles with a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7) decision. It was the only match of the day to go three sets.
Alvernia will host Penn State-Berks on Tuesday at Angelica Park.
