York, Pa. (March 23, 2009) - The Alvernia University Men's team fell to 5-0 on the season with a 9-0 loss at York College (4-5) Monday afternoon in non-conference action.

Zach Lockwood (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) had one of the Crusader's most impressive matches of the day, managing to battle and lose just 4-6 and 3-6 at number one singles.  Morgan Davidheiser (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) was also impressive falling by close scores of 3-6 and 4-6 at number three singles.

Alvernia will continue to look for their first win of the season when they take on King's College Wednesday afternoon in their Freedom Conference opener.
