Reading, Pa. (Mar. 16, 2010) - Alvernia University fell to 0-2 on the season with an 8-1 loss to Penn State-Berks Tuesday afternoon in non-conference men's tennis action at Angelica Park.

Alvernia freshman Will Gerber (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) earned the Crusaders' point with a three-set win at No. 4 singles.

Alvernia will continue the non-conference schedule hosting Ursinus College on Friday.
