Reading, Pa. (Mar. 26, 2013) - Senior Nathan Bauer (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) added to his career singles wins record with his 32nd win leading Alvernia University (5-6) to a 6-3 win over Arcadia University (2-4) Tuesday afternoon in non-conference men's tennis action at Angelica Park.

Bauer and Dan Minnich (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra) combined for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles and the Crusaders set the tone taking two of three doubles matches.

The hosts closed out the match winning at each of the top four singles flights.  Bauer won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 and Minnich followed with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles.  Bauer evened up his career record at 32-32 in singles play, two ahead of Zach Lockwood (2006-10) on the singels wins list.

Alvernia is back in action Saturday when it hosts Lycoming in a Commonwealth Conference match.
