Middletown, Pa. (Sept. 17, 2013) - Alvernia University (0-1) opened up the men's tennis season with a 6-3, non-conference loss at Penn State-Harrisburg (1-0) Tuesday afternoon.

Alvernia got an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles from Dennis Sult (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh) and Dan Minnich (Palmyra, Pa./Lower Dauphin) and both players followed with straight set singles wins dropping just three games in four sets between them.

Alvernia returns home to open the home schedule this Saturday vs. King's College at Angelica Park.
