Allentown, Pa. (Sept. 30, 2013) - Sophomore
Zach Arsenault (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) posted a 7-over 77 leading Alvernia University to a 328 team total and eighth place out of 17 teams at the Muhlenberg College Fall Invitational Monday afternoon hosted by Lehigh Country Club.
Arsenault carded seven bogies and 11 pars on the day and finished in a tie for seventh place individually. Junior
Chris Van Natta (Easton, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) had one birdie in his round of 8-over 80. Sophomore
Brett Fernandes (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) had two birdies and played his first seven holes in 1-under, but went 6-over on his next six holes before a costly quad on the par 3 third. He finished at 82 while junior
R.J. Cummings (Moorestown, N.J./Bishop Eustace) posted an 89 to round out the Crusaders top four.
Rutgers-Camden took the team title with a score of 310 led by Peter D'Angelo who was individual low medalist with a 2-over 72.
Alvernia returns to action Wednesday for day one of the Yocum Cup at LedgeRock.
