Reading, Pa. (Nov. 3, 2014) - Alvernia University (10-7-2, 4-3-1) has earned the #4 seed in the Commonwealth Conference Men's Soccer Championships and will host #5 Lebanon Valley College (7-8-3, 3-3-2) Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the play-in game.

Commonwealth Championships HistoryAlvernia is making its third straight appearance in the Commonwealth Championships. It finished as a runner-up in 2011 after knocking off Lebanon Valley, 2-1 in overtime, in a home semifinal. In 2012 the Crusaders defeated Arcadia, 1-0, in the play-in game before losing 3-0 at #1 Messiah in the semifinal, and last year tied Elizabethtown 1-1 before falling 3-0 in penalty kicks.
Series HistoryLebanon Valley leads the series 8-4-2.
Alvernia won the only game played betwen the two in the postseason, 2-1 (OT) in 2011.
