Dan Minnich was a part of a winning doubles team and took the No. 1 singles match in straight sets, but those were the only two points the Crusaders (0-1) scored in a 7-2 loss to Penn State-Harrisburg (1-1) Thursday afternoon in non-conference men's tennis action at Angelica Park.
Minnich teamed with
Aaron Yuros for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles. PSU took the other two doubles matches 8-1 and 8-2. Minnich was dominant in singles play as well taking a 6-4, 6-2 win at the top singles match. PSU won the final five singles matches in straight sets.
Alvernia continues the fall schedule next Tuesday at King's College.
