Camden, N.J. (Oct. 26, 2015) - Sophomore Keith Noonan carded a pair of birdies in a round of 6-over 76 to lead Alvernia University to a 321 team total and fourth place out of 14 teams at the Rutgers-Camden Men's Golf Invitational hosted by Pennsauken Country Club.

Senior Brett Fernandes posted 79, junior Zach Stricker shot a career-best 82 and freshman Callum McCaslin shot 84.

Noonan started his day on the par 4 sixth with back-to-back bogies then just missed his first birdie of the day on the par 5 eighth before rolling in a 30-footer for birdie at 9.  He played the back nine in 3-over 38 with six pars and three bogies then started the front nine with a pair of pars and was 4-over with three holes to play.  He made bogey on the par 3 third then missed the fairway leading to a double bogey at the fourth.  He stuck a wedge from 135-yards out on the par 4 sixth to three feet and rolled in the birdie to finish.

Fernandes started the day with a birdie at 6 then doubled the seventh.  He shot 39 on the back nine then came back with 40 on the front.  Stricker and McCaslin birdied one hole each in their rounds.

Alvernia is done for the fall and will return to action in the spring.
