Emily Gilbert shot 88 to finish in a tie for fifth place and lead Alvernia University to a 799 two-day team total and seventh place out of eight teams at the Kutztown Women's Golf Fall Invitational Monday afternoon hosted by Moselem Golf Club.
Gilbert posted 81 in Sunday's opener and finished nine shots off the pace set by Millersville's Jamie Wharton. Gilbert was the top Division III finisher and the only D3 player in the top 17.

Cayla McCarty trimmed four strokes off her day one score to post 97 on Monday and finished 29th.
Jordan Kissner improved by 10 strokes Sunday into Monday and finished tied with teammate
Emily Sabo for 39th.
Millersville won the team title at 662 led by Wharton who took the individual trophy at 160.
Alvernia returns to action this Saturday facing Gettysburg and Lebanon Valley in a tri-match at Foxchase Golf Club.
