Fleetwood, Pa. (Oct. 3, 2016) - Sophomore Emily Gilbert shot a second-day 87 to finish at 172 and finish in 12th place at the Kutztown University Women's Golf Fall Invitational Monday afternoon at Moselem Spring Golf Club.

The Crusaders followed Sunday's 376 with a 383 on Monday to finish in 8th place out of nine teams.

Junior Cayla McCarty shaved five strokes of her score to shoot 89 on Monday and finish in 25th.  Jordan Kissner shot 103 for the Crusaders and Marisa Lombardo shot 104.

Alvernia continues the season on Wednesday hosting its Fall Invitational at Ledgerock.
