Kutztown, Pa. (Apr. 16, 2016) - Freshman Emily Gilbert fired an 85 to finish in a tie for fifth place and lead Alvernia University to a 390 team total and fourth place out of five teams at the Kutztown Women's Golf Spring Invitational Saturday afternoon hosted by Moselem Spring Golf Club.

Kutztown University shot 336 to win the team title.

Cayla McCarty and Jamie Corrone both shot 101 for the Crusaders and Jordan Kissner rounded out the top four scores with a 103.

Alvernia heads right back out on Sunday playing a match play event against Arcadia at Flying Hills.
