Stevenson Tops Crusaders, 8-1

Reading, Pa. (Apr. 20, 2016) - Stevenson University (10-5, 5-0) collected wins in all three doubles matchups en route to an 8-1 victory over Alvernia University (4--9, 2-3) in MAC Commonwealth men's tennis action Wednesday afternoon at Angelica Park. 

Stevenson held the Crusaders to 8-1 and 8-2 matches in doubles play before taking the first five matches of singles play. 

Alvernia claimed its lone point at No. 6 singles as Todd Unger took the match in straight sets. Unger allowed just one Mustang  tally in the matchup, taking the sets 6-0, 6-1.

Alvernia takes to the road on Saturday to continue its conference schedule, traveling to Lycoming for a 1:00 start.
