Lebanon, Pa. (Sept. 10, 2016) - Alvernia sophomore Emily Gilbert fired a 12-over 84 to finish in eighth place individually leading the Crusaders to a 383 team score and fourth place out of eight teams at the Lebanon Valley College Women's Golf Invitational Saturday hosted by Lebanon Country Club.

Gettysburg won the team title with a 334 total led by individual low medalist Sarah Hansen who shot 79.

Alvernia sophomore Jordan Kissner opened the season with a 96, missing her career low by a stroke.  Cayla McCarty shot 100, Marisa Lombardo posted a 103 to round out the counting scores for the Crusaders.
