BOX SCORE 1 | BOX SCORE 2 Clermont, FL. (March 7, 2018) – Alvernia University continued to add to its win streak by picking up two more wins this morning.

The Golden Wolves earned their second victory over Mitchell College posting a score of 15-1. Alvernia took an early 3-1 lead after the first inning, then scoring in every inning after. Jocelyn Flores went 2-3 hitting her first career homerun. Nicole August started on the mound and recorded her first career win. Zoee Garis came in to close the game in the 5^th inning shutting the offense down with a perfect inning.  

Game 2 of the day saw the Golden wolves jump out to a 2-0 lead in the third inning over Penn State Brandywine. This proved to be all the run support Riley Shields needed. Shields threw 6 scoreless innings with 8 strikeouts before the Bobcats were able to score 1 unearned run with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7^th inning.

Mckenzie Miessau added to Alvernia's lead by hitting a solo homerun, her first of the season, in the 6^th inning. JoAnnah Lim followed up in the 7^th with a 3 run homerun.
Alvernia will finish their spring trip on Thursday playing Wheaton College at 9:00 AM and The Catholic University of America at 2:00 PM.
