Emily Gilbert shot a a five over 77Â to pace Alvernia to a team total of 349 and first place over Jefferson University in a dual match at the ACE Club.
Gilbert birdied the par 5 ninth and par 5 18th to shoot just one stroke off the current Alvernia record round of 76, a record that Gilbert set just over a year ago.
Gilbert's round of 77 was good for a first place tie with Jefferson's Kinley Lingenfelter.
Finishing in second for the Golden Wolves and fourth overall was
Cayla McCarty with a 13 over 85. McCarty's round was highlighted by a birdie on the par 5 17th, the longest hole on the course.
Finishing in third for Alvernia and fifth overall was freshman
Briana Hocker with a round of 90. Hocker carded six pars on her round, including pars on two par threes.
Rounding out the scores for Alvernia was
Jordan Kissner with a round of 95. Kissner posted five pars on her round, including back-to-back pars on seven and eight.
Alvernia plays in its final match of the regular season Monday when they head to the Arcadia Invitational at Cedarbrook Country Club. The Golden Wolves will compete in the MAC Championship at Hershey Country Club (East) on April 21-22.
