Kutztown, Pa. (April 8, 2018) - Junior
Emily Gilbert fired a 17-over 87 to pace Alvernia University to a third place finish and team total 367 at the Kutztown University Spring Invitational, hosted by Moselem Golf Club.
Gilbert posted two birdies on the round and her 87 was good for a t-7th finish. West Chester University had three individuals finish in the top six, including Lacey Bensing with a low medalist 82, to take the team title.
Senior
Cayla McCarty shot an 89 to finish in second place for the Golden Wolves and t-11th overall. Freshman
Briana Hocker finished four strokes behind McCarty to finish t-15th. Junior
Jordan Kissner posted a 98 to finish in 19th place and round out the counting scores for the Golden Wolves.

Faith Hughes shot a 99 on the day and freshman
Hannah Smith finished with a 115.
Alvernia continues its spring season on Monday when they travel to Piney Branch Country Club to compete in the Stevenson University Invitational.
