Center Valley, Pa. (Sept. 24, 2018) - Sophomore Joe Polidoro shot 80 to lead Alvernia University to a 352 team score and eighth place at the Moravian Fall Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club's Weyhill Course.

McDaniel won the team event at 302 led by low medalist Coliln MacDonald who shot 1-under 71 with three birdies and two bogies.

Polidoro played the front nine in four over with four bogies and five pars.  He rolled in a birdie at 10 and hit a nifty approach from under a tree in the rough just over 100 yards out on 13 to set up another birdie.

He couldn't quite get up and down from behind the green at the par 3 14th and 3-putted three of the final four to finish at 80 in a tie for 12th place individually.

Freshman Luke Fagley shot 82 to finish in a tie for 19th place.  He parred the first two holes on the front side then managed just two more pars on the last seven holes and played the front in 6-over 42.  He posted six pars on the back nine with two bogies and a double to finish 10-over.

Kyle Millard shot 50 on the front nine and returned in 40 on the back to shoot 90, and Joe Bode carded 50 on both sides to shoot 100.

Alvernia returns to action on Wednesday for Day One of the Yocum Cup.
