Wilkes-Barre, Pa. (Oct. 12, 2019) - Michael Brophy and Reid Hoff teamed to advance to the quarterfinals in the #1 doubles flight of the MAC Men's Tennis Individual Championships Saturday at Kirby Park.

Brophy and Hoff defeated Misericordia's team of Hemond / McCaffery 8-4 in the opening round and lost to the #2 seed McDermott and Johnson III from Stevenson 8-7 (7) in the quarterfinals.

Brophy and Hoff drew seeded opponents in the opening rounds of singles play at #1 and #2 respectively and were defeated in straight sets.

Kevin Angeles lost in three sets to Casey Haas from Lycoming at #3 singles.  Noah Herman (#4), Derrick Boltz (#5), Darias Sabau (#6), and Dylan Boltz (#7) all lost in straight sets in the first round.
