Emily Gilbert posted a 3-over 75 to earn low-medalist honors and lead Alvernia to a first place team score of 333 on Friday at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational, hosted by Lebanon Country Club.
Gilbert earned her third low-medalist honors for the third straight time, as all four counting scores for Alvernia finished sub-90 for the the second round in a row.
Alvernia finished 43 strokes ahead of Eastern University, who finished in second place with a team score of 376.
Gilbert posted 14 pars on her round, and had a birdie on the par 4 fourth. Gilbert finished her front nine with an even par 36, and finished three over on the back nine with a 39.
Finishing in second for Alvernia and second overall was freshman
Yupha Muzyka with a round of 84. Muzyka finished her round with eight pars, and posted a front-nine 41 and a back-nine 43.
Finishing in third for the Golden Wolves and t-3rd overall was sophomore
Briana Hocker. Hocker finished her round with nine pars, and posted a front-nine 40 and a back-nine 46.
Rounding out the counting scores for Alvernia with a fifth place round of  88 was senior
Jordan Kissner. Kissner posted four pars on her round and had a birdie on the par 5 second.
Finishing in fifth for Alvernia and 13th overall was freshman
Maggie Arnold with a round of 103. Arnold posted pars on the par 3 ninth and par 3 14th.
The Golden Wolves have ten days off before they head to Arcadia in their final invitational before the MAC Championships.
