Yupha Muzyka shot a 7-over 79 to finish tied for second place and to lead Alvernia University to a team total of 345 and second place finish out six teams on Monday at the Arcadia Invitational, hosted by Cedarbrook Country Club.
Muzyka posted five straight pars to open up her round before going double bogey-bogey-par to close out her front nine with a 3-over 39. She then opened her back nine with a birdie on the par five 9th and posted three more pars the rest of the way to finish with a 79 and just two strokes off the low medalist from Jefferson University.
Emily Gilbert shot 81,
Briana Hocker finished with a 90, and
Jordan Kissner rounded out the counting scores with a round of 95.
Gilbert finished with eight pars on her round to finish fourth overall in the field of 36.
Hocker finished with four pars on the day to finish t-16th overall.
Kissner posted two birdies, with a 3 on the par 4 7th and a 2 on the par 3 9th, and a par on her round to finish t-21st overall.
The Golden Wolves finished 12 strokes off of Division II Jefferson University, who took first place team honors.
Today's round was Alvernia's final of the regular season. The Golden Wolves have off until the MAC Championship this weekend at Mt. Laurel Golf Club.
Alvernia looks to defend its 2018 title starting on Saturday.
