Emily Gilbert shot a 7-over 77 to earn low-medalist honors and lead Alvernia to a first place team score of 332 on Tuesday at the Ursinus Spring Invitational, hosted at Stonewall's North Course.
All four of Alvernia's continuing scores were sub-90 as Alvernia took first place by 13 strokes.
Gilbert led Alvernia with a round of 77, shooting five pars and a birdie on the front nine before shooting seven pars on the back nine. Today's low-medalist honor was Gilbert's third in the past six days.
In second for Alvernia with a round 82 was freshman
Yupha Muzyka. Muzyka posted five pars on two birdies on her round to finish t-4th overall.
Senior
Jordan Kissner finished in third for Alvernia with a career-low round of 85. The freshman shot5 pars on her round and had a birdie at the par 4 14th. She finished 7th overall in the field of 32.
Rounding out Alvernia's counting scores was sophomore
Briana Hocker. Hocker finished her round with five pars, and pared three of the four par 3s on the course. Hocker finished t-11th overall with her round off 88.
Alvernia continues its spring schedule on Friday at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational.
