Collegeville, Pa. (September 21, 2021) - Alvernia graduate student Joe Polidoro fired a 2-over 73 to pace Alvernia to a third place finish overall on Tuesday at the Ursinus College Invitational, hosted at Raven's Claw. 

Alvernia finished third in the field of 10 with a team score of 313.

Polidoro, who finished t-5h, finished his round with three birdies, including two birdies on par 4s on the front nine. Polidoro made the turn at 2-under, and moved to 3-under with his final birdie of the day on the par 5 10th as he made the turn to the back nine. Polidoro found trouble on the 13th with a double-bogey and posted three straight birdies on the next three holes to move to 2-over. Polidoro shot par the rest of the way as he finished at 2-over 73. 

Finishing second for Alvernia and 20th overall was Tyler Cebular with a round of 79. Cebular's round was highlighted by a birdie on the par 5 7th.

Finished third for Alvernia and t-21st overall was Jack Lynam with a round of 80. Lynam's round was highlighted by a birdie on the 10th.

Rounding out Alvernia's counting scores was Luke Fagley with a round of 81. Fagley posted two birdies on his round - a birdie on the par 4 2nd and a second one on the par 4 12th. 

Zachary Lessley competed as Alvernia's fifth, shooting a round of 86. 

Moravian took first place with a team total of 295. Moravian's Nick Kuhn and Thomas Lakata tied for first with even par rounds of 71.
