Fagley Leads Alvernia to First Place at Turtle Creek

Limerick, Pa. (Oct. 18, 2022) - Graduate student Luke Fagley paced Alvernia to a first place team finish on Tuesday at the Arcadia University Turtle Creek Invitational.

Fagley finished the afternoon with a round of 73 to take second overall. Fagley's 73 paced Alvernia to a first place team finish with a team score of 312. The Golden Wolves edged the host Knights by just one stroke to take first in the field of 12 schools.

Fagley's 73 was one stroke back of Albright's Evan Tywman who took first place with a round of 72.

In second for Alvernia and t-3 overall was Jack Lynam with a round 76. Zach Lessley took third for Alvernia and 21st overall with a round of 81, and Owen Wisner rounded out Alvernia's counting scores with a round of 82 to take t-22nd.

Dylan Byers played as Alvernia's fifth with a round of 85.

The Golden Wolves conclude their fall season next week with the Yocum Cup beginning on October 25 at Albright's Berkshire Country Club.
