Alvernia, Muzyka First at Turtle Creek

Limerick, Pa. (Oct. 18, 2022) - Alvernia Women's Golf and graduate student Yupha Muzyka took first place at the Arcadia University Turtle Creek Invitational on Tuesday.

Alvernia posted a team score of 329 to finish first in the field of six teams. The Golden Wolves finished 45 strokes ahead of second place Jefferson.

Both Muzyka and McKylie Boreman finished t-1st with rounds of 80. But, Muzyka took low medalist on a match of cards with a 40 on the back nine to Boreman's 41.

Finishing in third for Alvernia and fourth overall was Katie Lapinsky with a round of 82. Grace Spielman rounded out Alvernia's counting scores with a round of 87.

Rylee Stenzel played as Alvernia's fifth and recorded a round of 89.

The Golden Wolves conclude their fall season on Monday at Lebanon Valley College.
