Fagley Leads Alvernia at Muhlenberg Invitational

Allentown, Pa. (April 11, 2022) - Alvernia University senior Luke Fagley shot a 7-over 77 to lead Alvernia to a seventh place finish on Monday at the Muhlenberg Invitational, hosted at Lehigh Country Club.

Dickinson ran away with the team title with a team score of 297. Just 12 strokes separated the 2nd place host Muhls with Alvernia, with four teams spread between.

After going 7-over on the front nine, Fagley rebounded on the back nine. Fagley started his back nine with back-to-back pars before picking up a stroke with a birdie on the par 4 12th. Fagley then went 1-over the rest of the back nine for his round of 77 and 8th place overall finish.

Finishing in second for Alvernia and t-27th overall was Jake Duffy with a round of 82. Duffy had the best front nine score for Alvernia with a 4-over 39 on the opening nine holes. He then finished off the back nine with three straight pars.

Finishing in third for Alvernia and just one stroke off of Lynam for a t-32nd place finish was Joe Polidoro with a round of 83. Polidoro's round was highlighted by a birdie on the par 4 1st.

Rounding out Alvernia's counting scores was Jack Lynam with a round of 84 to finish t-37th.

Zachary Lessley finished as Alvernia's fifth with a round of 87.

Dickinson's Tyler Tornoe earned low-medalist honors with an even round of 70.

Alvernia is back in action on Monday at the F&M Invitational.
