Eleven Spring Athletes Earn All-Sportsmanship Honors

Annville, Pa. (May 17, 2022) - 11 Alvernia University spring student-athletes were named to the 2022 MAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team, as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference on Tuesday.

Joe Ginder of Baseball, Joe Polidoro of Men's Golf, Maggie Arnold of Women's Golf, Michael Ferrrara of Men's Lacrosse, Kaitlyn Burkhardt of Women's Lacrosse, Emmanuel Rodriguez Jr. of Men's Track and Field, Michay Yarbray of Women's Track and Field, Emily Sano of Softball, Jayden Lewis of Men's Tennis, Leah Bouchard of Women's Tennis, and Ian Rauh of Men's Volleyball earned the honor for Alvernia.

The MAC All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify great character and display exceptional sportsmanship both on and off the field. They represent their team, institution and the conference with high integrity, and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches and opponents. They are humble and hold themselves with pride, competing at the same level of intensity no matter who the competition is, or outcome of the contest. These student-athletes were selected by the head coaches and student-athletes from their respective teams.

A total of 172 student-athletes across the MAC were selected by their head coaches to their respective All-Sportsmanship teams.
