Boreman Paces Alvernia at West Chester’s Cottrell Invite

West Chester, Pa (April 3, 2023) - McKylie Boreman fired an opening round 82 as Alvernia University finishes tied for sixth after day one at West Chester's Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invite at Penn Oaks Golf Club.

The Golden Wolves recorded a team score of 361 after the first round of competition.

Boreman led with an 11 over, 82 and is tied for fourth heading into day two.

Katie Lapinsky shot an 86 and is tied for tenth after the opening 18 holes.

Rylee Stenzel matches Lapinsky with an 86 of her own and is tied for tenth.

Paige Damon recorded a 107 and finished 53rd.

Autumn Wolf rounded out the Alvernia lineup with a 108 and finished 54th.

The Golden Wolves are back in action tomorrow when they travel back to West Chester for day two of the Cottrell Invite.
