Lynam Paces Alvernia at Elizabethtown Invitational

Hershey, Pa. (April 6, 2023) - Alvernia University Men's Golf took fourth place at the Elizabethtown College Invitational on Thursday, hosted at Hershey Country Club's East Course.

The Golden Wolves finished with a team score of 330, and were led by Jack Lynam with a round of 80.

Lynam's round of 80 was good for a t-9th finish among two other golfers in the field. Lynam shot 3-over on the front nine with a birdie on the long par five first hole. He also had a birdie on the par five 14th to finish with two birdies on his round.

Finishing in second for Alvernia and t-14th overall was Luke Fagley with a round of 82. Fagley's round was highlighted by eight pars and a birdie on the par five 14th.

In third for Alvernia and t-18th overall was Tyler Cebular with a round of 83. Cebular had eight pars on his round, including five on the back nine.

Rounding out Alvernia's counting scores was Jackson Hoovler with a t-28th round of 85. Hoovler had nine pars on the round, including a run of four pars on the first five holes of the back nine.

Dylan Byers finished as Alvernia's fifth with a t-38th round of 87.

Moravian College took first place with a score of 317, and Albright's Sam Elsen and Jacob
Haberstumpf finished t-1 with rounds of 75.

Alvernia is back in action on Monday for day one of its home invitational. Day one will take place at Stonewall.
