Reading, Pa. (Feb. 24, 2024) - Alvernia University Women's Track and Field took seventh place in a field of 14 teams on Saturday at the final day of the 2024 MAC Indoor Track and Field Championship at Alvernia's Flynn PLEX.
The Golden Wolves had two all-conference finishes and seven total podium finishes.
Widener took home the team title with a total of 177 points.

Highlights
- Shinelle Felix took first place in the triple jump with a championship record mark of 12.22m. She also earned First Team All-Conference for her performance.
- Mylina Castillo took third place in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 11.08m
- Felix also podiumed in the shot put with an eighth place mark of 10.46m.
- Caitlin Sternberg took sixth place in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.81 seconds, just 0.01 off her season best and personal record of 9.80 she set yesterday in the preliminary round.
- Elisabeth Schwarz took fifth place in the 60m with a time of 8.05 seconds.
- Cera Gaston took fourth place finish in the 3,000m with a time of 10:42.86.
- Alvernia's 4x400m relay team took eighth place to round out Alvernia's podium finishes with a time of 4:19.63. Alvernia's relay team was made up of Jessie Torres, Caitlin Sternberg, Elizabeth Kavulak, and Rosnelly Sanchez de Aza.
