Boreman Paces Golden Wolves at Jack Leaman Invitational

South Hadley, MA (April 20, 2024) - McKylie Boreman fired a first round 76 to lead Alvernia University on day one of the Jack Leaman Invitational hosted by Amherst College at The Orchards Golf Club. 

The Golden Wolves currently sit in 11th place out of 17 teams. 

Boreman sits in a tie for ninth place after round one and fired a four over, 76. Boreman carded eight pars and three birdies including a stretch with three birdies in four holes. 

Katie Lapinsky carded the second best score of the day for the Golden Wolves with an eight over 80 and is in a tie for 31st. Lapinksy carded 14 pars on the day en route to shooting 80. 

Rylee Stenzel finished with an 83 on the day and carded nine pars in round one. Stenzel currently sits in a tie for 50th. 

Grace Spielman carded the final counting score for Alvernia with a 90. Spielman carded five pars on her day and is currently in a tie for 81st. 

Cassidy Miksich rounded out the scores for Alvernia with a 91 on day one. Miksich carded five pars and is in a tie for 84th place after round one. 

The Golden Wolves are back at The Orchards Golf Club tomorrow for round two of the Jack Leaman Invitational.
