Golden Wolves Compete at Day One of AMCC Round Robin #2

Greensburg, Pa. (Feb. 8, 2025) - Alvernia Women's Bowling went 1-3 during the opening day of the second AMCC Round Robin of the season on Saturday, hosted by the University of Pitt - Greensburg.

Alvernia is a combined 4-7 through the first AMCC Round Robin and day one of today's traditional format games.

The Golden Wolves opened the day with an 878-781 loss to second place William Smith. Alvernia then picked up a 668-647 win over La Roche College in game two. Alvernia fell to first place Saint Vincent, 980-764, in game three. The Golden Wolves then dropped a close contest, 772-725, to Greensburg to round out the day.

Mia Siminitus led Alvernia on Saturday with a 164.75 average. 

Saint Vincent remains undefeated through the first round robin and today's games and is atop the standings at 11-0. Alvernia is tied for fifth through Saturday. The top six teams after tomorrow's round will advance to the AMCC Championship in March. 

Alvernia wraps up the AMCC Round Robin 2 tournament tomorrow.
