McKylie Boreman was named a WGCA All-Region honoree, as announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association on Wednesday evening at the Division III Women's Golf National Championship.
Boreman was named All-Region to Region One (East). She is the first player in program history to earn an All-Region honor.
Boreman is the 2025 MAC Women's Golf Senior Scholar Athlete and is a five time All-MAC honoree, earning First Team All-MAC honors earlier this season. Boreman has a team high 40 birdies and 236 pars. Entering the Division III Championship, Boreman had a 76.45 scoring average across 22 rounds played during the 2024-25 season. She had a season low round of 69 back in the fall. Boreman has nine top-three finishes this season and had eight victories in 13 events. Boreman has the most wins among any women's golfer in Division IIi this season. Boreman is currently ranked 52nd in the nation and 15th in the region. She was ranked as high as 22nd back in the fall and remained in the top 60 in the country throughout the entirety of the 2024-25 season.Â
Boreman and the women's golf team are back in action tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM. They will conclude a weather-shortened round two with about nine holes to go. They will then look to continue on when the 36-hole cut is made.
