Golden Wolves Take on Coach I Invitational

Lancaster, Pa. (Jan. 24, 2026) - Alvernia Men's Track and Field posted five top-15 finishes and set 10 new personal records at the Franklin and Marshall Coach I Invitational on Saturday.

Christian Medina was Alvernia's top finisher with a six place finish in the shot put with a personal record mark of 14.39 meters.

Quinn Harter took tenth place in the triple jump with a mark of 12.13 meters, and also had a 17th place finish in the long jump with a personal-record mark of 5.51 meters. Andrew LeClair posted a personal record in the high jump with a mark of 1.68 meters to take 13th place.

On the track, Andrew Simmons had a pair of top-15 finishes. Simmons tied his personal record in the 200m with a time of 23.92 seconds to take 12th place. He also posted a season-best time of 7.23 seconds in the 60m to take 15th place.

Joseph Washington, Justin Hartline, and William Dennis each posted personal records in the 200m. Washington ran a 24.06, Hartline a 25.18, and Dennis a 26.89. Hartline also posted a personal record in the 60m with a time of 76.9 seconds. Connor Perez rounded out Alvernia's personal records on the track, setting a new PR in the 400m with a time of 55.77 seconds. Both Aidan Arnold and Medina posted personal records in the weight throw to round out Alvernia's PR's on the day. Arnold marked a 12.49 meter attempt to take 20th, and Medina threw a 12.27 meter attempt to take 22nd.

Alvernia is back in action in the Plex on Saturday, January 31st for the Golden Wolves Shootout.
