Personal Records Fall at PLEX Shootout

Reading, Pa. (Jan. 31, 2026) - Alvernia Men's Track and Field posted seven new personal-records and saw three other personal-records tied on Saturday at the Alvernia PLEX Shootout.

In the field, Alvernia had four top-ten finishes. JT Timmons was Alvernia;s top-finisher of the day with a fifth place finish in the high jump on a mark of 1.80 meters. Andrew LeClair posted a seventh place finish in the long jump with a personal-record mark of 6.20 meters. Both Christian Medina and Quinn Harter had respective ninth place finishes to round out Alvernia's top-tens in the field. Medina took ninth in the shot put with a mark of 13.68 meters, and Harter took ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.85 meters.

Harter also tied his PR in the long jump with a mark of 5.51 meters, while Connor Perez set a new PR with a mark of 5.74 meters. Perez also took to the track with a new PR in the 400m with a time of 55.51 seconds. Aidan Arnold also tied and set a new PR for Alvernia. Arnold matched his PR in shot put with a mark of 11.14 meters, and set a new PR in the weight throw with a mark of 13.28 meters to take 12th place.

On the track, Spencer Hahn led the Golden Wolves with a sixth place finish in the mile with a time of 4:34.38. Andrew Simmons also grabbed a top-ten finish, taking tenth in the 60 meter with a season-best time of 7.21 seconds. Simmons also set a PR in the 200m with a time of 23.90 seconds.

William Dennis tied his PR in the 60m with a time of 7.93 seconds, and Daniel Krin set a new PR in the 200m with a time of 25.62 seconds. Ryan Dennison rounded out Alvernia's personal-records on the day, finishing the 5,000 meters in 16:35.46 to take 20th place.

Alvernia is back in action at the Fastrack National Invitational in New York on Friday.
